What we consider

Options are considered — not assumed.

Longevity care at NORBU MD begins with evaluation. Any therapy is considered only where there is a clinical rationale for you individually.

The $29 fee covers the physician visit. Medication, laboratory testing and pharmacy costs, if applicable, are separate. A prescription is not guaranteed.

Physician-led

Better treatment starts with understanding what's actually going on.

Longevity has become a marketplace. Peptides, infusions and protocols are sold directly to consumers with confident claims and very little evaluation behind them.

NORBU MD approaches it as medicine. A board-certified physician evaluates your health, explains what the current evidence supports and recommends treatment only where there is a clinical rationale for you.

Sometimes the most valuable outcome of a visit is a clear explanation of why a popular therapy is not the right next step — and what would actually move your health forward.

Understanding longevity care

What this field actually is — and isn't.

What peptide therapy actually is.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that can act as signaling molecules in the body. In medicine, some peptide-based products are FDA-approved for specific indications, while many products marketed online are compounded and are not FDA-approved.

That distinction matters. It affects what is known about the product, how it is regulated, and what your physician can responsibly say about its expected effects. Any peptide therapy considered at NORBU MD is a prescription treatment discussed with those limits made clear.

Why physician oversight matters.

Therapies bought without evaluation carry real risk: interactions with your current medications, unrecognized conditions, unclear product quality and no plan for monitoring.

A physician-led approach means someone qualified reviews your health first, decides whether treatment is appropriate at all, and stays involved to reassess over time.

Treatment should have a clinical rationale.

A good plan can explain, in plain language, why a specific therapy is being considered for you, what it is expected to influence, how progress will be assessed and when it should be reconsidered.

If none of that can be answered clearly, that is a reason to slow down — not a reason to start. Individual results vary, and no therapy discussed here is a guarantee of any outcome.

Questions

Longevity care, answered.

What does the $29 physician visit include?

The $29 fee covers your online visit with a licensed NORBU MD physician: review of your health history, goals, medications and relevant laboratory findings, and a personalized plan when treatment is clinically appropriate. Medication, laboratory testing and pharmacy costs are separate.

Will I be prescribed peptides?

Not automatically. Peptide therapies are prescription treatments considered only where your physician identifies a clinical rationale for you. A prescription is never guaranteed.

Are peptide therapies FDA-approved?

Some peptide-based medications are FDA-approved for specific indications. Many peptide products marketed online are compounded and are not FDA-approved. Your physician will explain the status and limitations of anything discussed with you.

Do I need laboratory testing first?

Sometimes. Your physician will discuss whether testing is appropriate, what it would clarify and how it would change the plan. Laboratory testing is billed separately from the physician visit.

Can you review labs I already have?

Yes. Recent laboratory results are useful context. Bring them to your visit and your physician will interpret them alongside your symptoms and history.

Is this anti-aging treatment?

No. NORBU MD does not claim to slow, stop or reverse aging. The focus is preventative, physician-led care: understanding your current health and addressing what can be meaningfully influenced.

How long before I notice anything?

It depends entirely on what is being addressed and why. Your physician will set realistic expectations for any plan discussed, and individual results vary.

Is treatment safe?

Every prescription treatment has risks, warnings and possible interactions. Safety depends on the individual patient, which is why evaluation comes before treatment and monitoring continues after it.

Is care ongoing?

Yes. Preventative care is not a one-time transaction. Your physician can follow your progress and adjust your plan when clinically appropriate.

Do I need insurance?

No. The $29 physician visit is paid directly. Medication and laboratory costs are separate and depend on the pharmacy or laboratory used.

Is NORBU MD available in my state?

NORBU MD provides care through licensed physicians across the United States. Availability can vary by state and is confirmed during intake before your visit.
