Terms of Service
The terms that govern access to and use of the NORBU MD website, patient platform and related services.
Effective October 23, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to NORBU MD. These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the NORBU MD website, patient platform, administrative services, and related technology. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and any applicable service-specific agreements.
2. Nature of NORBU MD Services
NORBU MD is a healthcare technology and administrative services platform. NORBU MD facilitates access to medical services provided by independent, licensed healthcare professionals and coordinates prescription fulfillment through participating licensed pharmacies.
NORBU MD is not itself a medical practice. NORBU MD does not employ or control healthcare professionals in the exercise of their independent clinical judgment. NORBU MD does not diagnose conditions, determine treatment, issue prescriptions, or dispense prescription medications.
3. Independent Medical Providers
Medical evaluations and treatment are provided by independent healthcare professionals affiliated with separately operated medical practices. Healthcare professionals retain exclusive responsibility for:
- Medical evaluations and diagnoses
- Treatment decisions
- Prescription decisions
- Determining medical appropriateness
- Clinical follow-up
- Medical recordkeeping
NORBU MD does not guarantee that a healthcare professional will recommend or prescribe any medication. Patients may communicate directly with their treating healthcare professionals through the available clinical communication channels.
4. Eligibility
Patients must:
- Meet the minimum age requirements for the requested service.
- Provide accurate personal and medical information.
- Be physically located in a state where the applicable medical services are legally available.
- Complete any required identity and eligibility verification.
- Agree to applicable medical consent and payment terms.
Services may be unavailable in certain jurisdictions or for certain medical conditions. NORBU MD services are currently available in all U.S. states except Alaska, Mississippi, and New Jersey.
5. Telehealth Services
Patients understand that medical services may be provided remotely through text-based communication, video consultations, or other legally permitted telehealth methods. The treating healthcare professional determines whether telehealth is appropriate for the patient’s medical needs. A healthcare professional may require additional information, a video consultation, laboratory testing, or an in-person evaluation. Telehealth services are not appropriate for all conditions.
6. Consultation Fees
NORBU MD currently charges a $29 consultation fee for applicable medical consultations. The consultation fee covers access to the applicable consultation service and associated platform administration, subject to the disclosures presented at checkout. The fee does not guarantee a diagnosis, prescription, or particular treatment outcome.
NORBU MD maintains contractual arrangements with independent medical practices under which participating practices receive fixed compensation for consultations. The compensation arrangement does not give NORBU MD authority over clinical decisions. Any applicable cancellation or refund terms will be disclosed before payment.
7. Prescriptions
Prescriptions are issued only when an independent licensed healthcare professional determines that a medication is medically appropriate and legally permissible. A prescription is never guaranteed. The prescribing professional retains full authority to decline a prescription, recommend another treatment, or require additional evaluation. NORBU MD does not issue prescriptions.
8. Pharmacy Fulfillment
NORBU MD coordinates prescription fulfillment through participating licensed pharmacy partners, including FormulateRx. Participating pharmacies are responsible for dispensing prescription medications and shipping them directly to patients. Pharmacy selection depends on applicable licensing, medication availability, contractual arrangements, clinical and legal requirements, and any legally applicable patient-choice rights.
The identity and contact information of the dispensing pharmacy will be provided as required by law. Patients may contact the dispensing pharmacy regarding pharmacy-specific questions, including medication dispensing, labeling, and pharmacist counseling.
9. Medication Purchases and Payments
NORBU MD collects patient payments through its platform. Under its contractual pharmacy arrangements, NORBU MD pays participating pharmacies for medications associated with valid patient prescriptions before shipment. Medication prices displayed to patients may differ from the amounts NORBU MD pays its contracted pharmacy partners.
The legal seller-of-record and related transaction disclosures will be identified in the applicable checkout terms and supporting pharmacy arrangements. All charges, including consultation fees, medication charges, shipping charges where applicable, and recurring charges where applicable, will be disclosed before purchase. NORBU MD does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued or fulfilled.
10. Recurring Services
If NORBU MD offers subscriptions or recurring medication programs, the applicable price, billing frequency, cancellation procedure, renewal terms, and any legally required consent will be disclosed before enrollment. No recurring payment will be charged without the authorization required by applicable law. (NORBU MD does not currently offer subscription billing or automatic renewals — see §11.5.)
11. Refunds, Replacements and Cancellations
NORBU MD is committed to transparent pricing, reliable pharmacy fulfillment, and fair resolution of patient service concerns.
11.1 Medical Consultation Fees
- NORBU MD charges $29 for an applicable medical consultation.
- The consultation fee is generally nonrefundable once an independent licensed healthcare professional has performed the medical evaluation, regardless of whether a prescription is issued.
- If a patient cancels before the evaluation begins, or if the purchased consultation cannot be provided, the consultation fee will be refunded, subject to applicable law.
- A consultation does not guarantee a prescription or any particular treatment.
11.2 Prescription Medication Orders
- Prescription medications are dispensed and shipped directly by NORBU MD’s participating licensed pharmacy partners.
- Patients may request cancellation before the pharmacy has completed dispensing, subject to the order’s processing status and applicable law.
- Once medication has been dispensed, it generally cannot be returned to pharmacy inventory or resold.
- This restriction does not eliminate any refund, replacement, or other remedy required by applicable law.
11.3 Defective or Incorrect Medications
- If a patient receives defective, damaged, or incorrect medication, NORBU MD will coordinate with the dispensing pharmacy to investigate the issue.
- When a medication is confirmed defective or incorrect, NORBU MD will arrange a replacement at no additional charge, subject to applicable pharmacy requirements.
- If replacement is not appropriate or available, NORBU MD will provide another remedy required by applicable law, which may include a refund.
- Patients should promptly report suspected defects and should not use medication they believe is unsafe without obtaining appropriate professional guidance.
11.4 Shipping and Fulfillment Errors
- If an order is shipped incorrectly because of an error attributable to NORBU MD or its fulfillment partners, NORBU MD will arrange reshipment or other appropriate correction at no additional charge to the patient.
- If reshipment is not possible, NORBU MD will provide a refund or other remedy as required by applicable law.
- Shipping concerns arising from incorrect patient-provided information or circumstances outside NORBU MD’s control will be reviewed individually, subject to applicable consumer protections.
11.5 No Current Subscriptions or Automatic Renewals
- NORBU MD does not currently offer subscription billing or automatic renewals.
- Patients are not automatically charged for future consultations or medication orders solely because they previously purchased services through NORBU MD.
- If NORBU MD introduces recurring services in the future, the applicable pricing, renewal frequency, authorization requirements, and cancellation terms will be clearly disclosed before enrollment.
- Any future recurring service will include an accessible online cancellation mechanism, including click-to-cancel functionality where applicable.
11.6 Customer Support and Resolution
- Patients may contact NORBU MD regarding consultation fees, medication orders, shipping errors, defective products, or other billing concerns.
- Support Email: support@norbumd.com
- Patient Portal: Patient login
- NORBU MD will review requests and coordinate with participating healthcare professionals and pharmacies as appropriate.
- Approved refunds will be returned through the applicable payment method within the disclosed processing period.
- Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
12. Emergencies
NORBU MD is not an emergency medical service. Patients experiencing a medical emergency should call 911 or seek immediate emergency medical care.
13. Patient Responsibilities
Patients agree to:
- Provide truthful and complete medical information.
- Disclose relevant medical history and medications.
- Use medications only as prescribed.
- Communicate adverse reactions or treatment concerns to their healthcare professional.
- Maintain accurate contact and shipping information.
- Protect account credentials.
14. Privacy
Information collected through the platform is handled according to the NORBU MD Privacy Policy and any applicable healthcare-provider privacy notices.
15. Platform Availability
NORBU MD may update, maintain, or modify its technology services. Service availability may vary based on technical conditions, provider availability, pharmacy availability, and applicable legal requirements. NORBU MD currently offers services in all U.S. states except Alaska, Mississippi, and New Jersey; the states served may change.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
NORBU MD provides technology and administrative services and does not itself provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing services. Medical care is provided by independent licensed healthcare professionals, and prescription dispensing is performed by participating licensed pharmacies. NORBU MD does not guarantee that a healthcare professional will prescribe medication or that any particular treatment outcome will occur. To the extent permitted by applicable law, NORBU MD’s technology platform is provided on an “as available” basis, and NORBU MD does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free platform operation. Nothing in these Terms disclaims legally required duties, applicable consumer protections, or professional obligations owed by treating healthcare professionals and dispensing pharmacies.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, NORBU MD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising solely from the operation or use of its technology platform. Any aggregate limitation of NORBU MD’s liability shall be established in the final Terms following legal review. No limitation shall apply where prohibited by law, including to liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which liability cannot legally be limited. Nothing in these Terms limits a patient’s legally protected claims against an independent healthcare professional or dispensing pharmacy, and nothing in these Terms eliminates NORBU MD’s responsibility for its own legally actionable conduct.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a user may be responsible for third-party claims directly resulting from intentional misuse of the platform, unlawful activity, or material violations of these Terms. A user will not be required to indemnify NORBU MD for NORBU MD’s own negligence, misconduct, violations of law, or obligations that cannot legally be transferred to the user. This provision does not impose liability on a patient merely for providing medical information in good faith or experiencing an adverse medical outcome.
19. Dispute Resolution
Patients may contact NORBU MD at support@norbumd.com to seek resolution of concerns relating to platform access, administrative services, payments, or other matters within NORBU MD’s responsibility. NORBU MD will make reasonable efforts to review and respond to such concerns.
Any agreement requiring binding arbitration of disputes involving NORBU MD must be separately approved by legal counsel and presented with all disclosures, exceptions, and consumer rights required by applicable law. These Terms do not impose arbitration obligations on independent medical practices or dispensing pharmacies unless a separate, valid agreement expressly applies. Nothing in this section restricts a patient’s rights to pursue claims that cannot legally be subject to mandatory arbitration, and nothing in these Terms requires a patient to waive nonwaivable rights or remedies under applicable law.
20. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the [State], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where a patient’s home-state nonwaivable consumer-protection or health law applies. The exclusive venue for any permitted court action is the state or federal courts located in [county, State], and you consent to their jurisdiction.
21. Severability; Entire Agreement; Survival
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Telehealth Informed Consent, are the entire agreement between you and NORBU MD regarding the platform. Sections 16–21 survive termination of your account or these Terms.
22. Independent Healthcare Providers
NORBU MD is a healthcare technology and administrative-services platform that connects patients with an independent, licensed provider network. NORBU MD does not itself practice medicine.
- Provider network: MDIntegrations — https://mdintegrations.com/
The treating healthcare professionals in this network retain independent responsibility for all clinical decisions and patient care.
